Breakfast at Tiffany’s (with Kinsey Darling)

Kinsey’s ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ party was absolutely divine. I’m a bit biased, but as far as parties go, it was one of the best that I’ve ever put together. My husband complemented my “details,” to which I replied “what ever do you mean?” I was digging for more (selfish, I know). The most important part is that Kinsey was happy the entire time, and I loved watching the little ones walk around with the ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ photo props in their hands (especially, Miss Eloise with the cigarette holder). My Mom was able to come, along with my sweet Grandma, and my Aunt and Uncle. It was such a treat to have them there, and was so special for Bryant and I.

The Details:

I did a cereal bar, build your own parfait station, french toast kabobs, and mini quiches. My sweet friend, who is a Pastry Chef by day, and an angry baker by night (joking, a little ;) )  Haley, made delicious Chocolate Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting, and decorated a mini smash cake like a Tiffany’s box for Miss Kinsey. Kinsey did not smash it. Instead, she delicately licked the frosting, but Haley did a beautiful job. I ordered ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ themed photo props from Paper and Pancakes, and our Happy Birthday sign was from PAPAYA!.

Photos by our dear friend, Michael Friberg (with the exception of the iPhone snaps).
